Lock punch temporarily holds hinge

A "Lock Punch" is similar to a stake operation except that it is applied to the gap between knuckles and is designed to temporarily hold a hinge from rotating.

For example, a hinge might be lock punched to hold it flat during barrel tumbling. Afterward a quick twist will break the hinge free to rotate normally.
